This isn't purely about height. The other variable that comes into play here (pardon the pun) is
your Wrist to Floor measurement. Golf clubs are built to standard lengths as in the Club Length Charts and the
wrist to floor measurement determines how much over or under the standard length your clubs need to be.
To determine your wrist to floor measurement, wear normal street shoes and stand with
your arms relaxed and hanging straight down. Measure from the first crease of your wrist to the floor. It's usually
best to get someone to do the actual measurement for you.
Make a note of the measurement and then work through the chart and find where your height and
wrist to floor measurements meet. That's how much over or under standard lengths you need to go. Remember, these
are relative to the standard lengths in the
Standard
Club Length Charts.
The Wrist to Floor measurement also gives you your Golf Club Lie Angle.

A proper golf club fitting involves getting the best match for all the following:
Club length and lie angle is usually measured as a deviation (+/-) from standard measurements.
Check our Standard Club Length charts for the club
length values.
Use our Golf Club Fitting Charts to see explanations about all these and how to work out the best fit for you.
